Embrace the Change

Joshua 1:9

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

I love the changes in seasons. It seems to kick up all kinds of joy and allergens. We recently took a drive through the local state park. The images/views were stunning. We saw all kinds of leaves a beautiful golden color.

Today I am channeling my lovely book Inner Simplicity by Elaine St. James. Way #29 is Using Visualizations. I love this because of the self affirmations it supports.

“Verbalize yourself silently and out loud.” “Spend time in your sanctuary thinking about how you would look and feel to yourself if you had the inner qualities of love, compassion, joy, gratitude, understanding, patience, tolerance, acceptance, or whatever attributes you seek. Pick one trait and step into it each morning as part of your daily routine.” Love this.

Exploring this in our changing outdoor land (after taking an allergy pill) can change your perspective on the inside and your reactions to things around you. We are all experiencing times where we need to reevaluate who we are, our deeper selves, and the path or journey we are on and also the path on which we desire to continue.

Embrace your inner qualities. Embrace your outer qualities. Embrace your outdoor sanctuary.

Optimized!
