From the Core

The turning point in the process of growing up is when you discover the core of strength within you that survives all hurt.

Max Lerner

As I was in the gym today I had a thought.

Do everything from the Core.

I was thinking about how I desired my abs to have more definition and look a little flatter. As I consciously thought about my technique I considered how I wasn’t always engaging my core. This could be part of my limitation in my reaching the goal I set for myself.

The same theory is applicable in life. When we flop about in life hoping for the best, we must understand that even minor goals can be achievable but unless we engage our core the likelihood of total success diminishes.

Engaging the core makes us work harder and utilize more of our neglected muscles: the soul. The soul connects us to one another and the universe.

The core also shows our true nature. It diminishes the need for showmanship when we are properly engaged. True nature exposed is beautiful.

Consider engaging your core, your true self, in your daily activities and note the difference for yourself.

Optimized!
